Really nice setting and well set up given current restrictions. We were a party of 8, 6 adults and 2 kids. Couldn’t fault the majority of our mains however one... read more of our party ordered a pizza and it was served in a pizza box despite the fact that we were dining in house! The roast beef could have been better too and understandably wasn’t as freshly cooked as the remainder of our mains. The crab claws, chowder and fish and chips were superb!! Desserts were to die for (sticky toffee pudding and banoffee) and we’d go back for these alone!

Went here for dinner with friends without a booking, we were told we would have a table if we waited half an hour, so we happily did this as the... read more restaurant came highly recommended. 45 minutes passed and still no sign of a table, by the time we got sat the kitchen was ‘closed’ and ‘only doing pizzas’ so we did not even get the dinner we waited for. If we knew we would end up having pizza we wouldn’t have waited as it’s not what we wanted. Staff were completely rude and dismissive towards us. Service was slow and our plates weren’t cleared until we left. We were kicked out of the restaurant at an earlier time due to COVID 19 restrictions, however it was the only place we stopped at along the whole Wild Atlantic Way that didn’t inform us of last orders, which was very annoying as the experience was brought to an abrupt and rushed end. Overall, very disappointing and would not recommend.
